La Java
Paris, France
About
La Java is one of Paris’s historic clubs, dating back to the 1920s in the basement of the Bellevilloise building, and has hosted everything from musette to punk and electronic music. Today it is known for eclectic programming spanning techno, reggaeton, rap, global club, and queer‑friendly parties. The vaulted basement room and low ceiling create an intense, sweaty dance‑floor atmosphere with a strong local and alternative crowd. Its history and independent booking policy make it a reference point for underground and community‑driven nightlife in eastern Paris.
